Lesson Planning as a Montessori Teacher (FREE MONTESSORI PLANNER)

Hi! I feel like planning is such a personal process, but I wanted to share some pen and paper resources that helped me. Of course, there are so many fabulous computer programs you can use now that can add a lot of ease to tracking and planning. However, nothing quite replaces pen and paper.

I always really like to have oral language lessons like true stories and poems written down because they can be easily forgotten since they aren't on the shelf.

Reciting poems in particular with small groups is SO underrated. It always made my heart so happy to see a child gather a small group to recite a poem once they've memorized it. Seasonal and event centered poetry is always lovely, BUT when you find a poem that relates to a special interest of a child, that is magic.

Anyway- hope these free downloads (Montessori themed Calendar and Planner) are helpful and happy teaching :)

P.S You should check out Catch the Sky. Beautiful poems and gorgeous illustrations.
